Advance your aesthetics knowledge and practical skills
Progress your professional development with the Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice, delivered at Sisu’amor Training Centre in Keynsham, Bristol.
Designed for learners who hold an appropriate regulated Level 4 qualification, this programme combines advanced skin science, professional responsibilities and supervised practical training in microneedling and medium-grade chemical peels.
Our flexible blended approach combines supported home study, tutor-led sessions and practical attendance at our training centre. Small classes allow time for questions, individual feedback and guidance as you develop your knowledge and confidence.

This Diploma is suitable for:

Entry requirements and eligibility
Applicants must be aged 18 or over. Entry is reviewed individually through a centre interview and qualification check.
You will normally need to hold one of the following:
- Qualifi Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice or an accepted equivalent
- Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation, including AP301 Skincare to Support Aesthetic Procedures
- Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Micropigmentation or an accepted equivalent
Learners must also hold current training in basic life support, anaphylaxis and choking, in line with centre requirements. Our team can help arrange this training where needed.
Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the qualification’s English-language requirements, normally IELTS 6 or an accepted equivalent.

What will I study?
You will complete six mandatory units:
- Legal, Regulatory and Clinical Requirements for Aesthetic Practice — understanding your responsibilities within professional aesthetic practice.
- Professional, Ethical and Sustainable Principles within Aesthetic Practice — developing sound judgement and responsible working practices.
- Working Collaboratively with Healthcare and Other Professionals — communication, collaboration and appropriate referral.
- Advanced Skin Science for Aesthetic Practice — deepening the scientific knowledge that supports your treatment decisions.
- Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Microneedling — consultation, suitability assessment, treatment planning and advanced practical skills.
- Advanced Aesthetic Procedures: Chemical Peels — assessment, planning and practical delivery of medium-grade chemical peel procedures.
The Diploma is a Level 5 qualification incorporating two Level 6 practical units.
Supervised practical training
Practical training supports the development of your technique, treatment planning and professional judgement under tutor supervision.
The practical units cover advanced microneedling for the face, neck and body, and medium-grade chemical peels for the face, chest and backs of the hands.
You will develop your approach to client assessment, consultation, treatment suitability, risk management, aftercare and evaluation.
How will I learn?
Our blended-learning approach combines supported theory and coursework completed from home with regular tutor-led sessions and practical training at our Bristol training centre.
Classes are limited to a maximum of six learners overall. Practical and clinical sessions follow the relevant Qualifi requirements, with close supervision and individual guidance.
You will receive regular tutor contact and structured support as you work through your qualification.
Assessment and certification
Assessment may include:
- Short-answer and multiple-choice questions
- Written assignments and professional documentation
- Case studies and treatment evidence
- Practical observations and competency assessments
- Professional discussion
- Portfolio evidence demonstrating your knowledge and practical ability
You must successfully meet all required learning outcomes and assessment criteria. Assessment is marked and internally quality assured by the centre and is subject to external quality assurance by Qualifi before certification.

Can I start Level 5 as a complete beginner?
You will need an appropriate regulated Level 4 qualification or an accepted equivalent. If you are beginning your aesthetics journey, our team can explain the Level 4 starting route and help you plan your progression.
Can I enrol if I already have CPD training?
CPD certificates alone do not automatically meet the entry requirements. Send us details of your qualifications and experience so we can review your eligibility and advise on a suitable route.
Is the course online or in person?
It combines supported home study with tutor-led sessions and practical training at Sisu’amor Training Centre in Keynsham, Bristol. Attendance is required for practical training and relevant assessments.
How long does the qualification take?
The course takes approximately 6–9 months. Our team will explain the learning schedule, practical attendance and assessment requirements before you enrol.
Can I pay monthly?

Can I progress to Level 7 afterwards?
Level 5 can support progression towards higher-level aesthetics qualifications. Entry to Level 7 depends on meeting the relevant requirements. Our training team will review your qualifications and explain the appropriate next step.

Take-home kits are not included unless clearly stated in the individual course description. This gives you the freedom to choose professional products and brands suited to your own practice rather than being restricted to a standard kit.
Our tutors will provide guidance on recommended products, equipment and trusted professional suppliers, so you know exactly what you may need after completing your training.
