This CPD-approved course is designed for practitioners who have already completed suitable foundation anti-wrinkle injection training and want to expand their treatment portfolio to include lower-face and other advanced indications.

Training combines pre-course learning, advanced facial anatomy, treatment planning, tutor demonstrations and supervised practical experience using live models. Classes are limited to a maximum of six learners, allowing plenty of individual guidance and practical support.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Learners must have completed suitable foundation anti-wrinkle injection training or hold an equivalent qualification that provides the necessary underpinning knowledge and practical experience.

Insurance providers have their own qualification and acceptance requirements. We strongly recommend confirming your eligibility and intended advanced treatment areas with your insurer before booking.

ADVANCED FACIAL ANATOMY AND ASSESSMENT

Advanced anti-wrinkle treatments require a detailed understanding of facial anatomy, muscle movement, facial balance and the way different muscles work together.

You will develop your ability to assess each client individually, identify suitable treatment objectives and create a considered treatment plan that protects natural expression and facial function.

PRESCRIPTION AND PRESCRIBER GUIDANCE

Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine. Every client requires an appropriate individual consultation with a qualified prescriber before the medicine can be prescribed and administered.

Training explains the prescribing process, professional responsibilities and the importance of working safely with an appropriately qualified prescriber.

Sisu’amor works with two in-house prescribers who may be able to support local learners, depending on their location, availability and the required individual consultation. Learners based farther away will receive guidance on finding and working appropriately with a prescriber in their own area.

PRODUCT LICENCES AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Product licences and authorised indications vary. Some advanced cosmetic treatment areas may fall outside a particular product’s licensed indications.

Practitioners must always follow the individual prescription, work within their competence and insurance cover, and comply with relevant product, manufacturer and professional requirements.

ONLINE LEARNING AND PRACTICAL TRAINING

Once your place has been secured, you will receive access to the required pre-course learning materials. These prepare you for the advanced theory, demonstrations and practical elements of your course.

During your in-person training, you will work under the guidance of an experienced aesthetics tutor and gain supervised practical experience using suitable live models.

Models and specific treatment areas are subject to availability, suitability, prescribing requirements and tutor assessment.

CERTIFICATION AND INSURANCE

Following successful completion of the required learning and practical assessment, you will receive CPD certification for your Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Injection Training Course.

Insurance providers have their own entry requirements and acceptance criteria. Practitioners must obtain suitable insurance for each treatment offered and work within their training, competence and professional scope.
