COURSE DESCRIPTION
BEGIN YOUR AESTHETICS CAREER WITH TWO FOUNDATION COURSES COMBINED
Develop the essential knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to begin offering two of the most popular treatments in aesthetics with our Combined Foundation Anti-Wrinkle and Dermal Filler Training Course in Bristol.
This CPD-approved course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as medical, beauty and aesthetics professionals who want to expand their treatment portfolio. Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology is included for learners who do not already hold a suitable qualification.
Training combines essential theory, tutor demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice using live models. Classes are limited to a maximum of six learners, allowing our experienced tutors to provide individual guidance and plenty of practical support.

DERMAL FILLER TRAINING
Learn the principles and practical techniques required to assess clients and perform foundation dermal filler treatments safely and confidently.
Treatment areas covered include:

Dermal filler course content includes:

COMPLICATIONS AND DISSOLVING
Patient safety is central to this course. Learners receive detailed education on recognising, reducing and responding to dermal filler complications, including vascular compromise and the appropriate use of hyaluronidase.
We always aim to provide an appropriate model for a supervised elective lip-dissolving demonstration or practical experience. This is subject to model availability, suitability and tutor assessment.
ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTION TRAINING
Develop the knowledge and practical foundation required to assess clients and deliver upper-face anti-wrinkle treatments.
The three principal treatment areas covered are:
• Glabella or frown lines
• Forehead lines
• Lateral canthal lines or crow’s feet
Anti-wrinkle course content includes:
• Health and safety
• Relevant laws, regulations and professional responsibilities
• First-aid and emergency considerations for cosmetic practitioners
• Blood-borne pathogens
• Needle-stick injuries and sharps disposal
• Facial anatomy and physiology
• Facial muscles, veins, arteries and nerves
• Introduction to botulinum toxin
• How botulinum toxin works
• Product knowledge, storage and handling
• Contraindications and client suitability
• Side effects and possible complications
• Client consultation and medical history

• Safe injection depths and techniques

PRESCRIPTION AND PRESCRIBER GUIDANCE
Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine. During the course, we explain the prescribing process, the importance of an appropriate client consultation and how to establish a safe, professional working relationship with a qualified prescriber.
Sisu’amor works with two in-house prescribers who may be able to support local learners, depending on their location, availability and the required individual consultation. Learners based farther away will receive practical guidance on finding and working appropriately with a prescriber in their own area.
ONLINE LEARNING AND PRACTICAL TRAINING
Once your place has been secured, you will receive access to our online student learning portal. This contains the pre-course learning, training manuals, supporting documents and tutorial materials required before attending your practical training.
Your in-person training includes tutor demonstrations and supervised treatment experience using live models. Models are subject to availability, suitability and the treatments required on the training dates.
CERTIFICATION AND INSURANCE
Following successful completion of the required learning and practical assessments, you will receive CPD certification for the course elements completed.
Insurance providers have their own entry requirements and acceptance criteria. We strongly recommend checking your intended insurer’s requirements before booking, particularly if you are entering aesthetics without an existing medical or beauty qualification. Our team will be happy to explain the training route and provide the course information required for your enquiry.

You can pay online in full by PayPal or debit/credit card. Where a deposit option is shown, this secures your place and the remaining balance will be due in line with the payment terms for that course.
CPD courses: The balance must normally be paid in full no later than 14 days before the training date.
Regulated qualifications: A £500 deposit secures your place. Interest-free monthly payment plans are available with no credit check. You can begin your qualification while paying, but the balance must be cleared before completion and normally at least four weeks before final sign-off.

Once you have secured your course you will be emailed logins for our online student portal. The online learning portal is a learning platform with everything you need to successfully complete your training before you attend your practical training day. WHAT IS INCLUDED?
All professional products, equipment and consumables required during your practical training are provided for use at Sisu’amor Training Centre.
Take-home kits are not included unless clearly stated in the individual course description. This gives you the freedom to choose professional products and brands suited to your own practice rather than being restricted to a standard kit.
Our tutors will provide guidance on recommended products, equipment and trusted professional suppliers, so you know exactly what you may need after completing your training.
